2429: The Decay of Dreams

A domestic space can say so much; it has the ability to embody a narrative of the life that people build within its walls, and it reveals the nature of its inhabitants. What people fill their home with is what the house becomes. My grandparent’s home belonged to two immigrants searching for a more prosperous life in Oakland California, but became the origin of generational trauma as those dreams fell short.
